Overview

Zanzibar is the quintessential destination that affords superlative historical, cultural, exploratory and eco-tourism beach experiences in East Africa. Mafia Island is part of Tanzania's Mafia Archipelago, in the Indian Ocean. Large swaths of the island's southern coastline and surrounding waters are protected by the Mafia Island Marine Park. Within the park are many coral reefs, home to wildlife such as whale sharks and sea turtles. In the south, beaches include secluded Ras Kisimani, just across from Bwejuu Island. Popular Utende Beach edges onto Chole Bay.

Day 1 :

Arrival in Zanzibar

Clients will be arriving happily at Zanzibar Airport meet & greet and have Private road transferred to stone town. welcome drink check in & Start swimming pool and leisure day & overnight Tembo Hotel.

Day 2 :

Stone Town Tour and Prison Island tour

After a very delicious breakfast, start the excursion of Stone town Tour which includes viewing and visiting Most historical sites in the stone town of Zanzibar. including The Old Slave Market, Zanzibar town Market, Peoples Palace , Old Dispensary , House of Wonders , Palace Museum and Old custom House ,Old arab fort are among the topics to be seen in this very guided tour. Later take a 30 minutes boat to Prison Island and overnight at Tembo Hotel

Day 3 :

Transfer to Matemwe - Spice tour en-route

After very delicious breakfast road transfer to Spice Plantations to enjoy spice tour ,the rare experience which prove out why Zanzibar is referred as Spice Island proceed by road to Matemwe and overnight Villa Kiva - Matemwe

Day 4 :

Relax on the beach or by the pool

After a very delicious breakfast you shall have very free & typical leisure days at your beach resort. overnight Villa Kiva - Matemwe

Relax on the beach or by the pool

After a very delicious breakfast you shall have very free & typical leisure days at your beach resort. overnight Villa Kiva - Matemwe

Day 6 :

Fly to Mafia Island

After a very delicious breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport and fly to Mafia Island depart 14:50, arrive 17:15- on arrival transfer to the hotel and overnight Butiama Beach Lodge

Day 7 :

Whale Sharks Tour

After breakfast, depart for a mystical experience and may be even swim with whale sharks (depends with a season) and overnight in Butiama Beach Lodge

Day 8 :

Relax in Mafia or optional activities

After a very delicious breakfast shall have very free & typical leisure days at your beach resort or optional activities and overnight Butiama Beach Lodge

Day 9 :

Fly to Dar Es Salaam.

Transfer to Mafia Airport and fly to Dar Es Salaam depart 17:35, arrive 18:10
