8 Days Selous Safari and Zanzibar. Looking for adventure and fantastic leisure? so this trip is for you. We will drive on a safari at Nyerere National Park ex Selous Game Reserve. It is home to many zebras, buffalos, lions, elephants, and other animals. The last days we'll spend on Zanzibar Island, enjoying a beach rest. You'll feel so good there that you will not want to return home.
Pick up 07:30 am at Hotel Slipway, and drive to the Selous (4-5 hrs).
You will take part in an afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Where you can see plenty of hippos, crocodiles and bird life. Overnight at the Nyerere Tented Camp. All meals included.
You will participate in a full game day drives private in Selous Game Reserve and boating safaris, Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary, with an area of 54.600kms – bigger than Denmark and 4 times the size of Serengeti!.
Selous has the world’s largest number of large game animals – elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. It also contains wildebeest, eland, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala, hippo, leopard and lion, not to mention over 350 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at the Nyerere Tented Camp. All meals included.
Explore the Selous Game Reserve by walking safari with armed rangers. After breakfast proceed with a game drive in Nyerere National Park. Dinner and overnight at Nyerere Tented Camp.
After an early breakfast then depart to Dar es salaam to catch a last ferry to Zanzibar depart 16:00 hr. Overnight at Tembo Hotel bed & breakfast or similar.
After breakfast at 7:00 amStown Town tour: Discover the exciting history of Zanzibar. This day trip takes you through a fascinating maze of the narrow streets and alleys of the past. You will see many old houses with beautiful carved doors, beautiful mosques as well as many small shops and lively bazaars. Visit the House of Wonders, The Palace Museum (People's Museum) and the Old Arab Fort. Discover the essence of Zanzibar. Later transfer to Paje and overnight stay Mahali Zanzibar
This day you can relax by the beach or swimming pool or optional activities at the hotel like Diving, Snorkeling, Jozani Forest Tour etc
