This 3 day Ruaha National Park safari will take you to where safari-goers come to truly experience an authentic African safari. Ruaha National Park is the largest southern park in Tanzania with over 540 species of birds, together with many animals such as elephants, crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, ostrich, and many more.

A combination of rare animals including Greater, Lesser Kudu, Sable, and Roan antelopes can be found in the Park due to the convergence of vegetation zones, a feature that is not found in other national parks in the country.

Day 1 :

Zanzibar to Ruaha National Park

Morning flight from Zanzibar to Ruaha National Park, on arrival, you are met by your driver-guide and begin a game drive in Ruaha National Park. Picnic lunch around mid-day, later on in the evening, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight Ruaha Hilltop Lodge.

Day 2 :

Full day game drive in Ruaha National Park

After early breakfast, depart for a full day game drive in Ruaha. The park is one of the few of Tanzania’s famous wilderness areas, whereby the exciting landscape spices up the game viewing experience. It has various animals, including a large population of elephants, greater kudus, lesser kudus, cheetahs, leopards, lions, roan and sable antelopes. Later in the evening, drive back to lodge for leisure, dinner and overnight Ruaha Hilltop Lodge

Day 3 :

Ruaha to Zanzibar

Morning breakfast followed by an en-route game drive to the airstrip for your scheduled departure to Zanzibar.
