Pugu Hills Tour

Pugu Hills nature reserve park is the perfect city escape from Dar es Salaam outside the tourist track. The former name was Mogo Forrest, and a part of this area is considered to be one of the oldest forests in the world. It’s an evergreen forest with over 80 species of birds, so this is also a bird watcher paradise.

There are several hiking trails to choose from. It’s possible to hike to the viewpoint where you can see the whole city, beautiful forest and a lake. If you like we can visit the cave which is famous for its colony of bats. There is also an area with abandoned industrial structures which can be very good for creative photo shoots.
