This 3-day Nyerere National Park safari is the best tour for you to experience boat safari on Rufiji River, culture, Walking safari and wildlife while on game drives. Now the Largest National Park in Africa, Nyerere National Park is a newly established Park which is part of what is known as Selous Game Reserve.

Day 1 :

Drive from Dar Es Salaam - Nyerere National Park

Pick up from Dar Es Salaam, and drive to the Selous (4hrs).
You will take part in an afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. Where you can see plenty of hippos, crocodiles and birdlife. Overnight at the Nyerere Tented Camp, All meals included.

Day 2 :

Full day in Nyerere National Park

After breakfast, proceed with a full game drive in Selous, Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary, with an area of 54.600kms – bigger than Denmark and 4 times the size of Serengeti!.

Selous has the world’s largest number of large game animals – elephant, buffalo, and rhino. It also contains wildebeest, eland, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala, hippo, leopard and lion, not to mention over 350 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at the Nyerere Tented Camp. All meals included.

Day 3 :

Drive from Selous - Dar Es Salaam

Early morning walking safari then breakfast, after breakfast drive to Dar Es Salaam.
